Robert Pflieger, a former GolinHarris Washington GM who led communications for the home building industry, has moved to the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts, the DC trade group for REITs, in its top PR role.
He takes the reins from Tom Bickford, the former SVP of corporate comms. for Bank of America who led an overhaul of REIT comms. over the past two years.
Pflieger spent the past 14 years with the National Association of Home Builders, departing as SVP overseeing its 16-staffer PA, digital and media relations comms. unit.
He moved to the executive VP-communications title at NAREIT this month.
Pflieger was previously GM of GolinHarris in Washington in the late 1990s and led its PA practice as a senior VP.
