R&R Partners' Phoenix office is providing PR support to the family of Charlie Vacca, the gun range instructor who was shot and killed last month by a 9-year-old girl.

R&R is working with Phoenix law firm Lamber-Goodnow at Fennemore Craig, which helped Vacca's four children and wife orchestrate a "Today" appearance and video statement of support for the young girl who accidentally killed their father.

In an incident that has sparked a national dialog, Vacca was guiding the unnamed nine-year-old shooter with an Uzi automatic weapon on Aug. 25 at the Last Stop shooting range in White Hills, Ariz., when she shot him in the head after the gun recoiled.

The video message from Vacca's family to the girl begins and ends with statement sby their FC attorneys, Marc Lamber and James Goodnow. "It was important for Charlie's kids to share a bit about the father they knew and loved and to express their feelings to the nine-year-old old," said Lamber.

In the video, Vacca's four kids read a letter to the girl in which they introduce themselves and talk about their father. "You're only nine years old," said 14-year-old Tylor Vacca. "We think about you. We worry about you. We pray for you and we wish you peace. "
