Diane Russell has moved from Cigna to Lincoln Financial Group as VP-marketing & communications in its insurance and retirement unit.
At Cigna, she was VP-product management & development for its life, accident disability dental and vision care operations.
Russell also was assistant VP for product & marketing communications, and director of employee and corporate communications.
Kristen Phillips, senior VP/marketing strategy at Lincoln, said Russell's strategic leadership in the financial services sector "will serve as a strong complement to our life, annuities and group protection businesses' marketing and communications efforts."
Russell began her career at McKinney PR & Advertising in Philadelphia.
Lincoln Financial Group, which is in Radnor, PA, is the marketing name of Lincoln National Corp., which has $215B in assets under management.
