Jim Arnold, who ran his own firm and served as CEO of Chester Burger & Co., has joined Gould+Partners as senior counselor.
During his career, the 72-year old executive provided PR guidance to more than 200 of Fortune 500 companies in areas such as reputation, management, issues/crisis management, succession planning, mergers/acquisitions, social responsibility and restructuring.
Arnold contributed to management publications, "The Handbook of Public Relations and Integrated Communications" and "Experts in Action: Inside Public Relations."
He also served as executive director for The Hermitage (President Andrew Jackson's home), press secretary for Tennessee's lieutenant governor, VP-PA for Alliance of American Insurers and VP-communications for American Hotel and Motel Assn.
