Greater Louisville Inc. (GLI), the metropolitan chamber of commerce and business development organization, late last week promoted Sarah Davasher-Wisdom to senior VP of public affairs and strategy.
Davasher-Wisdom is responsible for communications, public relations, board relations and planning. She will continue to oversee GLI’s advocacy, public affairs and government relations efforts.
Prior to joining GLI, Davasher-Wisdom was manager of government relations for the Tennessee Valley Authority and before that was strategic communications officer for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
“Sarah has tremendous capacity and is renowned for her attention to detail,” said Kent Oyler, CEO of GLI, in a statement. “She has proven herself to be a reliable performer in the public policy role and as a member of the executive team, and I’m confident that she will continue to perform as she takes on this expanded role.”
