TransMedia Group has become agency of record for Florida bicycle chain Bike America.
With eight locations in the state, Bike America is one of Florida's largest retailers of bicycles, parts and cycling accessories.
TransMedia’s PR work for Bike America will focus on the health benefits that can be achieved through an active lifestyle that includes the pastime of cycling. The Boca Raton-based agency will promote riding tips and advice, as well as a calendar of community cycling events. The campaign will especially be focused on female riders, as well as kids.
Finally, TransMedia will also highlight Bike America’s history of support for various charities, fund-raising groups, community cycling events and sponsorships in the cycling community.
In a statement, TransMedia said it plans to explore with the retailer more cooperative ventures and community events opportunities.
