Galin, who holds the title of senior vice president, entertainment, joined Rogers & Cowan in 2011 and previously held the title of VP. Galin arrived at R&C after running her own talent publicity firm, Lantern PR, which she launched in 2010. Prior to that, she was an associate PR manager in the publicity department at Hearst Magazines, which she joined in 2006.

Raymond, who has been with Rogers & Cowan since 2007, also joined the agency after founding his own PR company, PYR PR, which he ran since 2002. Previously a VP of R&C’s talent division, Raymond has now been promoted to senior vice president, entertainment.

In their expanded roles, Galin and Raymond will now manage Rogers & Cowan’s talent department and will also guide digital, content and social media competencies for new publicists joining the agency.

Rogers & Cowan in a statement said the newly minted position is part of a larger investment in new media initiatives that was outlined by the company last year.
