Jonae Barnes, a top IR and corporate communications exec at Vision Medicines, has moved to French biopharma Poxel SA as senior VP of IR and PR, based in Boston.

Barnes' career includes top comms. and IR roles at Agenus and Sepracor, where she rose to senior VP of IR and corporate communications directly reporting too the CEO.
Poxel, based in Lyon, France, is focused on treatment of type 2 diabetes. Its shares are traded on the Euronext market. CEO Thomas Kuhn in a statement said Barnes will help the company continue to build its US presence.
Poxel's leading drug candidate, Imeglimin, is in late-stage trials.
