BAM Communications of San Diego hired Gabie Kur to serve as New York GM. Kur, who previously led New York City-based accounts for marketing agency Codeword, will be responsible for driving BAM’s growth on the East Coast while leading strategy for several of its key accounts. “I look forward to Gabie’s leadership to help us scale as we continue to expand both our presence and expertise,” said Beck Bamberger, CEO/founder of BAM.

Ground Floor Media, and sister agency, CenterTable, added Elise Bishop as director-communications, Adrienne Schafer as director-social media and digital strategy, and Shelbi Warner as director-finance. Bishop comes to GFM from DanoneWave (formerly WhiteWave Foods), where she was a communications specialist. In her new role, she will create and implement communications programs for clients. Schafer joins the CenterTable team following stints as an instructional designer at Twitter and director of program innovation at MyLifeLine.org Cancer Foundation. Warner most recently oversaw the accounting department for multiple Massage Envy clinics and served as controller for Novarus Capital Group. “Bringing on Elise, Adrienne and Shelbi in three very different, yet strategic, roles helps ensure that we stay at the forefront of industry trends,” said Ramonna Robinson, president of GroundFloor Media and co-founder of CenterTable.

505 Games tapped Alex Munson as PR & events manager. Munson comes to 505 from Rogers & Cowan, where he was an account supervisor, working with such clients as Hasbro, You Tube/Google, Kabam Games and Sony Pictures. In his new role, he will be responsible for executing domestic and international publicity in support of 505 Games titles on platforms including Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Wii, mobile, PC and VR.
