TDK Strategies has tabbed Beth Cope as principal as the agency establishes a New York office. Cope joins Atlanta-based TDK from nonpartisan policy and leadership center the Public Leadership Institute, where she was executive VP. Before coming to PLI, she was the Georgia community director for the U.S. Green Building Council, and has served as executive director for NARAL Pro-Choice Georgia. She was also the founder of Talking Heads Media, providing strategic communications to public policy and nonprofit organizations. “Beth’s ability to swiftly analyze the impact of the shifting public discourse makes her an ideal addition to our team,” said TDK co-founder and principal Kimberly Krautter.

APCO Worldwide has named digital strategists in three key European markets. Laura Reynders, who will be based in Brussels, comes to APCO from Weber Shandwick, where she served as a digital influence and corporate communications manager. Daniella Lebor, who has been with APCO since 2013, is a senior associate director in the firm’s London office. Cody LeBlanc, who has been with the firm for three years, is an associate director, based in Paris. “Digital has long been an area of focus at APCO, and the additions of Laura, Daniella and Cody to our teams in Europe will be invaluable as we continue to help clients build and implement effective communications strategies,” said APCO president, Europe Claire Boussagol. APCO has recently launched its APCO AI Comms Lab, an innovation center which utilizes artificial intelligence-driven solutions to build and protect the reputations of major global brands, governments and organizations.

INVNT, a brand storytelling agency, has appointed Brea Carter to the newly created role of director of PR and marketing. Carter was previously marketing manager EMEA at brand experience agency FreemanXP, and before that she served as a news editor at Haymarket Media’s Event magazine. Based out of INVNT's Sydney office, which was launched in April this year, Carter will be responsible for leading the company's PR and marketing efforts as well as working to drive awareness of the agency's service offering and approach.
