Kekst CNC has announced that Helena Norrman will become a partner at the firm. In addition, she will assume the role of managing director at Stockholm-based JKL, the Nordic branch of Kekst CNC. At JKL, Norrman succeeds Maria Grimberg, who is leaving the company to take on the role of director of communications at NCC, a construction and property development company. Norrman comes to Kekst CNC from Ericsson, where she has most recently served as senior vice president of marketing and corporate relations. Her responsibilities include marketing, branding, communications, sustainability and public affairs. Before coming to Ericsson, Norrman was a communications consultant at JKL. She is expected to take on her new role by July 1.

The Local Media Association and the Local Media Consortium have hired Julia Campbell as branded content project lead. Campbell was previously vice president of media systems for Gray Television, where she created MomsEveryday, a television, digital, social and OTT branded content initiative. She has also served in director and editor positions at a number of local and national TV outlets, including CNN. Her newly created position at LMA and LMC is possible thanks to a $1 million investment from the Facebook Journalism Project. Fran Wills, CEO of the LMC, said that Campbell “will lead our efforts to craft a branded content program that will provide a valuable benefit to advertisers while increasing audience engagement and revenue for local media publishers.”

Hill+Knowlton Strategies has named Priyanki Brahma a principal. Brahma comes to H+K from Aspectus Group, where she was a senior account executive, serving as the media relations lead for four accounts and strategy lead for two. She has held positions at Grayling and Montgomery Communications, and previously worked as a journalist at New Delhi Television and ESPN in New Delhi. In her new post, Brahma will work in H+K’s New York office, providing insight and guidance to corporate clients.
