Porter Novelli has hired Margaret-Ann Cole as executive vice president, global talent leader and Sandy Skees as executive vice president, global lead of innovation and impact. Cole comes to Porter Novelli from Accenture, where she served as managing director and human resource disruptor. She was previously North America career management practice leader for Right Management. Based in New York City, Cole is responsible for leading Porter Novelli's global talent function. Returning to Porter Novelli after 12 years, Skees previously led the sustainability practice at BSI, a global environment, health, safety and sustainability consulting firm. She was previously managing director at Fenton. Based in San Francisco, Skees will serve as head of Innovation and Impact, formerly the technology practice.

Dix & Eaton has promoted Gregg LaBar to senior managing director. LaBar has been with Dix & Eaton for more than 20 years and has led the firm’s investor relations practice and corporate social responsibility practice for the past several years. Dix & Eaton CEO Chas Withers said that LaBar “has become a national go-to resource and expert on helping organizations of every size plan, build and execute sustainability and CSR initiatives.” Agency senior vice presidents Angela Rodenhauser and Kellie Friery will now co-lead the firm’s IR practice; and senior VP Karin Bonev, who also serves as head of the employee engagement practice, will spearhead the firm’s change management discipline.

AEG Presents, a wholly owned division of AEG and one of the largest live music companies in the world, has appointed Dennis Dennehy chief communications officer, a newly created role at the company. He will also be a member of the AEG Presents Executive Committee. Dennehy comes to AEG from Interscope Geffen A&M Records, where he worked for 20 years, most recently as executive vice president and head of publicity. In his new position, Dennehy will oversee the development and implementation of the division’s internal and external media presence, positioning and communications, reporting to AEG Presents’ chairman and CEO Jay Marciano. He will also work closely with AEG Presents’ artists and management partners as needed to develop comprehensive media strategies that align with their overall vision.
