PAN Communications has hired Sian Kilgour to serve as director of client services in the firm’s UK office, a newly created role. The appointment follows PAN’s entry into the UK market earlier this year with its July acquisition of Capella PR. Kilgour joins PAN from Cirkle, where she was a senior director. She has also worked at a number of PR consultancies, helping drive corporate, consumer, B2B and content marketing strategies. At PAN, Kilgour will participate in the agency’s mentorship programs, work to drive organic growth and set best practices and standards in client delivery and measurement. She will report into UK managing director Gareth Thomas and vice president & general manager Nia Evans.

O’Connell & Goldberg Public Relations has promoted Matt Levinson to chief operating officer. Levinson, who formerly served as the agency’s vice president, joined the agency as an account executive in January 2000, and during the past two decades, has led many of its practice areas, including retail, real estate and crisis communications. Before coming to O&G, he was a corporate communications manager at Boca Raton Resort & Club and a business reporter at the Boca Raton News. Levinson is also a lead faculty member for the International Council of Shopping Centers’ John T. Riordan School for Retail Real Estate Professionals, where he teaches crisis communications and marketing.

IPREX has named Sarah Munnik its new Asia-Pacific regional president. Munnik is currently managing director of Auckland, New Zealand-based Pead PR. She previously led the technology practice at Hill+Knowlton South Africa. Munnik takes a seat on IPREX's Global Board, joining Caroline Heywood (Ireland), Natalie Best (USA), Harri Kammonen (Finland), Julie Exner (USA), and global president Andrei Mylroie (USA). "Sarah not only brings ample intelligence and enthusiasm but also a strong business head and a dedication to best practice in the communications sphere," Mylroie said.
