Blue Sky Agency has named Mariana Costa executive creative director. Costa joins Blue Sky from VMLY&R, where she was a group creative director. She previously served as a creative director at DDB, associate creative director at McCann Erickson and senior art director at FCB Chicago, working with such brands as Reebok, IAMS, Unilever, Verizon Wireless and Pfizer. In her new position, Costa will be responsible for leading Blue Sky’s creative team and collaborating closely with all departments to produce fully-integrated, cross-channel campaigns.
Gatesman has promoted Jenn Miller to senior vice president. Miller was previously director of analytics at the agency, and has worked to establish and grow the agency’s marketing intelligence practice. Before coming to Gatesman in 2018, she was a business analytics manager at PNC. “Under Jenn’s leadership, marketing intelligence progressed into a formidable practice area at Gatesman,” said Gatesman president Shannon Baker. “We’re able to fully realize our marketplace-driven model and unearth insights faster and validate hypothesis with proven data points.”
Vitech, which provides cloud-based administration software, has brought on Yaffa Cohen-Ifrah as senior vice president of marketing. Cohen-Ifrah comes to Vitech after serving as chief marketing officer and head of corporate communications at Sapiens, a company offering software solutions for the insurance industry. In this role, she was responsible for all aspects of the company’s global marketing strategy, including brand strategy, messaging, communications, public relations and demand generation. At Vitech, she will oversee and execute marketing and communication strategies, themes, messages and plans, in alignment with broader company objectives and strategies.
