Marino has promoted Andrew Zimmer to vice president, digital & integrated strategy. Zimmer joined Marino in January 2019 as a director of digital strategy. He previously served as director of content and social strategy at Blue Man Group, editorial director at Thrillist and deputy editor at Time Out New York. In his new role, will be tasked with further expanding and refining the social and digital strategies offered by the firm. “Andrew has helped transform Marino’s integrated approach to digital strategy and expanded our core offerings in this realm,” said Marino president John F. Onclusive, a data science company for marketing and communications, has promoted Patrick Liang to chief technology officer. Liang was one of the founders of AirPR (which was subsequently renamed Onclusive), and was chief architect of several of its main products, including its Power of Voice metric, which delivers a quality-adjusted share of voice score calculated in real-time around the world, and PR Attribution, an AI-powered system that ties earned media coverage directly to tangible outcomes. Before starting up the company in 2012, Liang was a senior software engineer at computer games company Zynga.
Selligent has brought on Dean Brown has joined as vice president of agency partnerships. Brown comes to Selligen, a cloud technology company,t from marketing services provider Epsilon, where he was senior director of partner sales. He previously served as vice president of strategic alliances at Neolane, later acquired by Adobe, where he ran strategic alliance partnerships in North America for conversational marketing technology Adobe Campaign. In his new position, Brown will lead Selligent’s channel partner strategy and lead efforts for building, enabling and developing profitable partnerships with digital agencies and marketing service providers in North America. “Dean’s intimate knowledge and experience with strengthening key agency and service provider partnerships aimed to drive business and customer value is unparalleled,” said Selligent genral manager, North America Troy Smith.
C-Strategies, a Chicago-based strategic communications and public affairs firm, has hired Kayla Kirshenbaum as senior director of communications. KIrshenbaum spent a decade in New York City implementing educational strategies for crisis communication and overseeing school safety procedures in Manhattan. She also developed program initiatives for incarcerated populations with The New York Department of Corrections. "Her gift for writing and developing and executing communication strategies will add tremendous value for our clients," said C-Strategies president and CEO Becky Carroll.
