GCI Health names Sherry Goldberg, Kath Kerry and Rikki Jones regional presidents on its global executive management team. Goldberg will serve as president of North America. She was previously the agency’s managing director in the U.S. She will now be responsible for growing GCI Health’s network of healthcare communicators in the U.S., which includes offices in New York, Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Chicago, Nashville, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Philadelphia and Washington, DC. Kerry, who has most recently been the agency’s managing director of the UK, oversaw the recent opening of GCI Health’s Brussels office and will continue to build out its European capability, while also growing into healthcare markets in the Middle East. President of Asia-Pacific Rikki Jones established the company’s Asia-Pacific presence in Singapore in 2019 and has since added offices in Hong Kong, Japan and India. She will remain focused on continuing GCI’s growth in current markets, while expanding its footprint across the region.

Confluent, event streamer, brings on Salesforce chief marketing officer Stephanie Buscemi as CMO. Before coming to Salesforce in 2014, Buscemi held the CMO position at information services company IHS Markit. She has served in executive leadership and senior marketing roles within the enterprise applications, analytics and business intelligence, cloud, mobile, and database technology sectors. “Stephanie is the embodiment of a modern marketing leader,” said Confluent co-founder and CEO Jay Kreps. “Her experience and success leading marketing for one of the most iconic cloud companies of our time will play an instrumental role as Confluent enters into our next phase.”

The Baltimore Orioles hire Katie Krause as director, public relations. Krause most recently served as senior manager of corporate communications for the Arizona Diamondbacks. Before that, she held se several marketing and media relations positions with the San Antonio Rampage of the American Hockey League. In her new post, Krause will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Orioles’ public relations department and generate opportunities to publicize the club’s efforts on the field and in the community. She reports to senior vice president, community development and communications Jennifer Grondahl.
