Valerie Berlin and Jonathan Rosen also elevated Andy McDonald to the principal position.
Since joining BerlinRosen in 2010 from Pew Charitable Trusts, McDonald has grown the firm’s issue advocacy unit from a single person to a practice of more than 100 strategists.
New York-based BerlinRosen represents clients in entertainment, media, racial justice, healthcare, real estate, technology, issue advocacy and workers’ rights communications.
The independent shop has 235 strategists. Women represent 63 percent of the firm’s management. Forty-five percent of staff identify as BIPOC.
