Autumn Communications hires Jennifer Strasburg as a SVP. She has served as SVP at Current Global and a senior A/E at Weber Shandwick. Most recently, she was head of communications at Madison Reed, a band of hair care and hair color products. At Autmmn, Strasburg will continue working with Madison Reed, as well as handling such lifestyle brands as Murad and Poppi. The agency is also bringing on Josefina Ballesta as an influencer director. Ballestina, who has worked at M Booth, Think Pubic Relatons and Pistol PR, will be lead and execute creative campaigns for Autumn’s influencer division.

Kimball Hughes Public Relations names Rod Hughes president, effective immediately. Hughes was previously vice president of the firm. Before coming to the agency in 2012, he was director of communications at Oxford Communications. Hughes succeeds Gary Kimball, who launched the company in 1995. Kimball will continue in a consulting role and advise on client strategy, crisis communications and new business development. Hughes “has played a pivotal role in expanding our national footprint in terms of both clients and our team, as well as in expanding our repertoire of services and industry specialties. Medwar comes to the company from Aruna Bio, where he was executive vice president, corporate and commercial development. He was previously executive vice president of global operations at RDD Pharma, Inc. head of oncology marketing at EMD Pharmaceuticals and marketing director at Triangle Pharmaceuticals. 9 Meters president and CEO John Temperato said that Medwar’s “extensive investor relations and corporate development expertise will make him a valuable addition to our team and an important part of our efforts to keep the investment community informed of our progress."
