Trish Nicolas, who was executive director of PR at Georgia’s Wellstar Health System, has joined Ruder Finn’s SPI Group strategic communications/digital solutions shop as executive VP, communications strategy and editorial.
Based in Atlanta, she will counsel clients on brand reputation, issues management, story development and audience engagement.
Nicolas, who ran her own consulting firm, also did stints at Jackson Spalding and Ogilvy. She has worked with clients such as Delta, Home Depot, Nortel and Coca-Cola.
At SPI, she will report to James Koppenal, managing director.
“Trish’s background in corporate communications, marketing, and public relations, both as a consultant and corporate executive, along with her experience as a successful communications catalyst in both the healthcare and technology industries, will be an asset to our clients and agency,” said Koppenal in a statement.
