Buchanan Public Relations names John Reynolds and Megan (Keohane) Yocum partners, joining agency founder Anne Buchanan on its leadership team. Buchanan will continue to serve as president and managing partner. Reynolds has been with Buchanan PR since 2014, serving as VP and director of media relations prior to being named partner. In addition to leading client accounts and overseeing media relations strategy, he will assume responsibility for the agency’s financials and operations. Yocum was an VP at Buchanan before joining global asset finance provider DLL in 2019 as a communications business partner. She rejoins Buchanan as partner and will share responsibility for leading client accounts, as well as overseeing HR, staffing and development. Buchanan will continue to lead new business efforts, serve as head of crisis communications and manage client relationships.

YOTEL, a global hospitality brand with 22 hotels worldwide, hires Olivia Donnan as vice president brand & communications. Donnan joins the company from BMF, where she was director of strategy and client services. She has also held marketing, communications and brand strategy positions at Marriott International in the US and Europe, Generator and Freehand Hotels. At YOTEL, Donnan will drive brand strategy, strategic partnerships, and communication campaigns, increasing exposure and awareness among consumers and partners. The chain is working toward a goal of 50 hotels signed, in development or operational by 2025.

Signal AI, a market and media monitoring platform, appoints Alexandre Pinto as senior vice president of data science. Pinto was most recently chief data scientist at data infrastructure and analytics company Outro. He was previously director of data and artificial intelligence at Accenture Portugal. At Signal AI, Pinto will lead efforts developing the company’s signature technology. He succeeds Signal AI co-founder and chief data scientist Miguel Martinez, who will move into a non-executive director position on the company’s board. “Alexandre is one of the brightest data scientists in technology today, and we know that he will help drive Signal AI’s growth trajectory via constant innovation,” said Signal AI chief technology officer Luca Grulla.

Ann-Marie O'Sullivan, Laura Phillips

IPREX adds Ann-Marie O’Sullivan and Laura Phillips to its global board. O’Sullivan, who is founder and chief of Cork, Ireland-based AM O’Sullivan PR Ltd., will serve as the organization’s EMEA president. Phillips, president of Vehr Communications in Cincinnati, will take on the position of Americas president. They will engage with IPREX partners in their local territories and work with the IPREX regional directors, identify opportunities to connect partners for new business opportunities, continued learning and global support.
