KCD PR hires Chris Clemens and Sarah Bilyeu as vice presidents. Clemens was most recently an account executive at Haven Tower Group. Before that, he worked in the investment banking and mergers and acquisitions space, with a primary focus on executing strategic transactions for technology and telecom companies. Bilyeu was most recently senior vice president of business development and community relations at San Diego County Credit Union. “The addition of these two exceptional leaders will not only expand the firm's depth of knowledge and relationships but also enhance our reach while better serving new and existing clients,” said KCD PR president Kevin Dinino.

Smile Train, a nonprofit that provides care for children with cleft lips and palates, taps Nicole Bell as its first vice president of public relations. Bell comes to the organization from 1st Degree Marketing and Public Relations, where she was a senior media strategist. She was previously director of public relations for Operation Smile and has also worked as a television journalist and college professor. In her new role at Smile Train, Bell will work to expand visibility and foster public awareness of global cleft solutions and health systems strengthening.

Platt was most recently director of member and advocacy engagement at non-profit medical and health research advocacy alliance Research!America. She previously served on the staffs of Rep. Anthony G. Brown, Rep. Niki Tsongas, Sen. Debbie Stabenow and Sen. Arlen Specter. In hew new role, Platt manages all programs, resources and member services related to the key growth areas of federal and state government relations.
