Wachsman brings on Cointelegraph CEO Jay Cassano as chief growth officer. At Cointelegraph, a media platform focused on the digital asset industry, Cassano served as editor-in-dhief for one year before becoming its chief executive. He previously served as a staff reporter at Fast Company and an investigative journalist at Newsweek. In his new position, Cassano will workacross Wachsman’s global network to scale new service verticals including community management, content marketing, social media services, and digital marketing to support the firm’s Web3 and fintech clients. “Jay is an exceptional talent, possessing a unique mix of leadership and Web3 expertise, coupled with an in-depth understanding of the media and omni-channel marketing,” said Wachsman founder and CEO, David Wachsman.
APO Group appoints Edelman Africa head writer and content strategist Lindsay Farley as VP of editorial and content strategy. At Edelman Africa, Farley developed thought-leadership and opinion editorials for the firm’s technology, banking and finance, and healthcare clients. She has also worked as executive editor and senior writer for South Africa Deluxe magazine. In her new post, Farley will lead APO Group’s content team in devising holistic content strategies, drafting press releases, thought leadership pieces, and other content. “Lindsay has a proven track record in producing compelling content for some of the biggest brands in the world, so I know she will be instrumental in helping our clients to thrive in Africa,” said APO Group founder and chairman Nicolas Pompigne-Mognard.
OPSWAT, a provider of critical infrastructure protection cybersecurity solutions, hires Tomer Zuker as chief marketing officer. Zuker joins OPSWAT from robotic process automation startup Nintex Kryon, where he was also CMO. He previously oversaw partner marketing programs in EMEA for Amazon Web Services and was a business group lead at Microsoft. At OPSWAT, he will lead all aspects of the company's global marketing presence, including planning, development, and implementation of OPSWAT's marketing strategy. “His expertise in sales and channel marketing will guide OPSWAT’s global marketing team to help the company achieve its aggressive market growth goals in 2022 and beyond,” said OPSWAT founder and CEO Benny Czarny.
