Motion hires Joe Popa as VP, design director. Popa most recently served as executive creative director at 88 Brand Partners. He previously held senior creative posts at DraftFCB, Rivet, Plan B and Sponge. Popa, who brings extensive knowledge of brand building, traffic driving and promotional campaigns to Motion, will be a key leader within the design division of the agency’s creative department, assisting with clients across such categories as healthcare, manufacturing and retail. “Motion is made up of curious thinkers, problem solvers and strategic storytellers – Joe has already showcased these qualities among so many more and will be a great fit to our team,” said Motion founder and CEO Kimberly Eberl.

Argerich was most recently senior VP, marketing at online learning and teaching platform Udemy. At EBay he served as global director, performance & digital marketing and he held the head of marketing post at Expedia. At Thumbtack, Argerich will lead the company’s marketing, brand, and communications teams. “Llibert is a growth architect who has helped some of the largest marketplace businesses in the world scale,” said Thumbtack founder and CEO Marco Zappacosta.
