Signal Group hires Grace Dahl as the agency’s first senior director of analytics. Dahl previously served as manager, analytics at Wunderman Thompson and a senior analyst at Edelman. She has experience managing digital media, performance marketing, integrated campaigns and data visualization. Signal has also brought on Andrew Postal, who was most recently communications director at the Climate Action Campaign, as a senior director; and Alexa Velickovich, who was previously a senior content executive at MATTIO Communications, as a manager. “Signal’s focus on measurement, analytics and data-centric outcomes are at the forefront of our new hires, and we are thrilled to welcome this group to our growing team,” added Rob Bole, chair of Signal’s digital practice and a member of the management committee.

Integral, an employee communications and engagement agency, promotes Taylor Shawver to SVP and co-founder. Shawver, who has most recently served as VP, strategy and culture, joined Integral in 2018, shortly after founder and CEO Ethan McCarty started the agency. Before coming to Integral, she was at Peppercomm. Shawver is also a member of the Page Society’s Future Leaders program, which prepares high-potential communications executives for the role of chief communications officer or agency CEO. “I’ve always considered Taylor critical to the launch of Integral. Formalizing it by naming her SVP and Co-Founder recognizes her profound impact on our business and culture,” said McCarty.

Golden State Foods, a supplier to the foodservice and retail industries, promotes Kate Starr to group vice president, communications. Starr has been with the company since 2019, most recently serving as senior director, global branding and communications. She was previously director of communications and public relations for The Resort at Pelican Hill in Newport Coast, CA, and worked at Porter Novelli, which has been GSF’s agency for over 20 years. In her new position, Starr will collaborate with GSF's support services groups and operational business units, as she leads the team that strategizes and produces all internal and external communications. "Kate's background and extensive experience will enable her to build on a solid foundation and help elevate our communications strategy and vision to the next level," said GSF corporate SVP and chief human resources officer Ed Rodriguez.
