The Alpine Group promotes Keenan Austin Reed to principal. Reed, who is now the firm’s sixth principal, previously served as a VP. Before coming to Alpine, she was chief of staff to Rep. Donald McEachin, working as a policy advisor and leading his work as Whip of the Congressional Black Caucus. At Alpine, she is responsible for advocacy across policy areas, which includes contributing to initiatives led by the Congressional Black Caucus, the House Committee on Energy and Commerce, and the Biden Administration. “Clients rely on Keenan for integrating people, politics, and process to create winning strategies. She is an important voice on Capitol Hill, exemplifying the expertise and deft guidance needed to successfully navigate and influence policy changes at both ends of Pennsylvania Avenue,” said Alpine Group managing principal and CEO Les Spivey.

Bevel, part of the Avenue Z network, promotes Bristol Jones to director and head of Miami. Jones has been with Bevel since 2019, most recently serving as an associate director. Before that, she managed US communicatons for women’s footwear designer Manolo Blahnik. She has worked with clients in sectors including fashion, CPG and tech. In her new post, she will run Bevel’s Miami office. "Bristol’s thoughtful, methodical approach to communications always yields consistent results for clients. She sets an exemplary model for her peers and reports, and plays an active role in developing talent," said Bevel senior director Nneka Etoniru.

Petrick comes to the company after working for 24 years at sporting goods company PUMA, most recently as global chief brand officer. He previously led the company’s basketball business unit and has served as global director of brand management.
