Shearer joins the firm from global investigations and business intelligence firm Nardello & Co., where she was also CMBDO. She previously led marketing and business development efforts at Shearman & Sterling, Norton Rose Fulbright and Chadbourne & Parke. “Nora has a proven ability to connect premier law firms with their most important audiences,” said Seward & Kissel managing partner Jim Cofer. “Her presence reflects our historic firm’s continued evolution and determination to support our attorneys.”

Kulur Group appoints Stephanie Johnson as its first chief communications & Kulture officer. Johnson was most recently senior VP of enterprise communications at the American Cancer Society. Before that, she was VP, North America & global accounts at Hotwire. In her new position, Johnson will oversee Kulur's suite of PR offerings, which includes building and managing brand, storytelling, crisis communications and issues management, as well as guiding thought leadership. She will also lead Kulur's internal communications team.
