Univision Communications Inc. (UCI), which caters to Hispanic Americans, said it has promoted Rosemary Mercedes to senior VP, corporate communications. She will continue to be based in New York and report to Mónica Talán, executive VP of Corporate Communications and Public Relations.
Since joining UCI in 2006, Mercedes has managed the New York-based communications team, crafted strategy and provided communications counsel to leadership across the company.
She has more than 16 years of public relations experience working in various roles across sectors, including nonprofit and higher education.
