5W PR, one of the 20 largest independently owned PR firms in the US, has relocated its New York offices to the 31st and 32nd floors of The Helmsley Building in midtown Manhattan above Grand Central Terminal.
The Beaux Arts building was completed in 1929 and was originally known as The New York Central Building, home of the railroad’s corporate offices.
Ronn Torossian, 5W PR’s president and CEO, explained the move to the new 43,296 square-foot office space was necessary to handle the agency’s growing staff now up to 150. It had been at 1166 Avenue of the Americas, leasing 39,000 square feet.
"We are very excited about 2017 and beyond. 2016 was a great year with double digit growth and our new office will accommodate more growth, hard work and success,” Torossian said.
Key client wins over the past year include Bowlmor AMF, the world leader in bowling entertainment with operations and a flagship location in Times Square; Wendy Williams; SAP NS2, national security arm of software giant SAP; goPuff, the rapidly growing on-demand convenience store service; cosmetics brand INGLOT Cosmetics; internet retailer SHOP.COM; and Chris Burch, founder of venture capital firm Burch Creative Capital.
The new office mailing address is 230 Park Avenue, 32nd Floor, New York, NY 10169.
