Lisa Ross, president and co-founder of Miami-based agency rbb Communications, was named vice-chair, Americas, of global communications partnership PROI Worldwide.

The appointment was formerly announced during PROI’s annual Global Summit meeting in Sydney, Australia. Ross was among three global vice-chair appointments made to the network’s Global Management Board: Lena Soh-Ng, senior partner of Huntington Communications in Singapore, was named vice-chair in PROI’s APAC Region, and Henning Sverdrup, partner of Släger Kommunikasjon in Norway, was re-appointed Vice-Chair of the EMEA Region.
Ross' agency, which specializes in consumer, health, food/beverage, travel, entertainment and professional services PR, is one of the top PR firms in the country with $9.2 million in 2016 net fees.
PROI Worldwide, which was founded in 1970, is the world’s largest partnership of independent global PR agencies, and maintains a roster of 75 partner agencies in more than 50 countries. Combined partner revenues in 2016 accounted for net fee income of more than $700 million.
