The program allows students to complete their graduate degree online over a two-year period. An advisory council of industry experts guides its curriculum and PR pros teach classes.

In addition to offering mentorship opportunities for UF students, the partnership will also make APCO employees eligible to receive a newly created scholarship covering the cost of the program’s tuition.
The scholarship will be named after the late Alicia Peterson Clark, who was Washington, D.C. deputy managing director for the firm.
“The communications industry is changing every day, and the next generation of leaders needs to be ready to take on these incredibly complex challenges,” said APCO founder Margery Kraus. “We are proud to partner with the University of Florida to help guide and grow these leaders, and look forward to having our own staff have the opportunity to take part in this world-class program.”
