CEDROM specializes in digital media monitoring and analytical services through its digital solutions provider, Eureka.cc in Canada, and its European counterpart, Europresse.com in France. The Montréal-based company, which was founded in 1989, staffs more than 100 and maintains additional offices in Québec City, Ottawa, Toronto and Paris.
Cision CEO Kevin Akeroyd in a statement said that the acquisition would provide the Chicago-based industry software giant’s customers access to thousands of new media content sources across print, radio, television, web and social media channels, particularly in Canada and France.
“The acquisition of CEDROM opens up a number of important new customer relationships for Cision in both Canada and France,” Akeroyd said. “It’s an excellent strategic fit for us within our overall portfolio, and helps to strengthen our global offering.”
