Hotwire has promoted Lindsay Riddell to VP, corporate & executive communications. Riddell was previously a senior director of client services at the firm. She has also served as director of marketing for Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco, and has been a reporter at publications including the San Francisco Business Times, Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal and Chattanooga Times Free Press. Riddell’s duties will now include working with Hotwire executives to identify, create and develop thought leadership platforms. “In in this new role, she will take a broader position on corporate and executive communications for even more Hotwire clients and prospects,” said Laura Macdonald, SVP and head of consumer at Hotwire.

MP&F Public Relations has named Knight Stivender as its first director of integrated marketing, heading up the firm’s new integrated marketing service line. Stivender comes to MP&F from Alcott Marketing Science, where she was director of business development and client success. She previously served as general manager of 12th & Broad, a digital platform of The Tennesseean, and was a senior editor at the paper. Stivender is also CEO and co-founder of Girls To The Moon, a Nashville-based social enterprise company that aims to help girls gain the confidence and skills to become leaders. “The addition of integrated marketing is something many of our clients have been asking for,” said MP&F partner Keith Miles. “Knight’s extensive experience in marketing, digital advertising and business development will serve existing and new clients well as they seek to create effective marketing campaigns across multiple channels.”

T-Mobile has promoted Janice Kapner to EVP, communications & community engagement. Kapner has been with T-Mobile since 2013, most recently as senior VP, corporate communications, spearheading such initiatives as employee campaigns, crisis management and media relations. She has also held executive positions at Microsoft, PlaceWare and eFax.com. Since taking over T-Mobile’s corporate communications, she has helped the company raise its brand visibility considerably. In 2014, T-Mobile says it showed up in just 18 percent of all stories about wireless, but by 2017, it says that number was up to an industry-leading 38 percent.
