Hotwire hires Tihanna Louise as VP, executive & corporate communications. Louise spent 15 years as a television and radio news reporter, producer, and writer for major network affiliates such as ABC and FOX across the country. She has also worked in such public relations and marketing positions as director of communications & social media marketing for the California STEM Learning Network and communications manager at Ballotpedia. Louise is also a motivational speaker and executive coach who has worked with tech leaders and entrepreneurs. At Hotwire, she will support media and corporate communications strategy and executive media and speaker training across client teams.

The Public Relations Global Network names Alexandra Diniță, general manager of Bucharest, Romania-based Free Communications, to serve as the organization’s 30th president. Diniță will lead the worldwide network of 50 independently owned firms for the next twelve months. She succeeds Robert Bauer, managing partner of accelent communications of Vienna, Austria, who assumes the duties of immediate past president and chair of PRGN’s Advisory Board. “A quick survey among our members recently showed the resilience of independent agencies, who landed more than 170 new client contracts in the first three months of 2021,” said Diniță. Other PRGN officers elected by owners of member agencies include: Xenophon Strategies president and CEO David Fuscus, who becomes president-elect; Three Box Strategic Communications principal Amanda Hill, who was elected treasurer; and Perspective Strategies principal partner and managing director Andy See Teong Leng, who will serve as secretary.

STX Films brings on Nasim Cambron from Netflix to serves as executive VP of publicity. Cambron was vice president of national publicity at STX before leaving the company to become publicity manager in Netflix’s feature film division in 2019. In addition to an earlier stint at Netflix, Cambron has also served as manager of national publicity at Universal Pictures. In her new role at STX, Cambron will be tasked with coordinating communication efforts across all of the company’s internal divisions, including the digital marketing, creative, media, home entertainment and distribution departments. “Having worked with her for years, we have seen firsthand the kinds of results she has generated on behalf of our films and filmmakers,” said Adam Fogelson, chairman of STX Films’ motion picture group.
