Tyler Gray, who served a five-year stint as editorial director at Fast Company, has moved to Edelman to take command of its newsroom in New York.
The unit produces analytics-based stories, visuals and videos to spur content sharing to drive client brand performance.
It is one of seven newsrooms operating by the top independent firm.
At FC, Gray lead a 15-member staff who helped revamp the magazine’s website and improve view traffic.
He also did editorial and consultant posts at the New York Post, Maxim, US Weekly, Radar and New York Times.
Russell Dubner heads Edelman’s New York office, which has more than 800 staffers.
