Marino picks up Aalto, a homebuying platform that offers an online alternative to traditional real estate agents. Marino’s efforts will focus on driving Aalto’s narrative and establishing the company at the forefront of change within the real estate industry. Aalto says that its platform eliminates unnecessary friction in the home-buying process, allowing it to drive down transaction fees and giving most of the fee back to buyers. Firecracker PR adds Glimpact, a French company that has launched a global environmental impact assessment tool, into the US market. The company evaluates products and services using the PEF (Product Environmental footprint), a method adopted by the European Union in 2018 that considers 16 impact categories on the environment, and all stages of the product life cycle, from raw materials to recycling.
