Fourth quarter PR revenues at Omnicom fell 7.7% to $339.9M amid an overall decline at the conglomerate for the period.

Overall revenue for the quarter fell 1% to $4.2B, while revenue for the full year slipped 1.2% to $15.1B.

PR for the full year saw a 2.3% decline to just under $1.4B. Omnicom's PR units include Ketchum, FleishmanHillard, Porter Novelli and Capstrat, among others. In a conference call, CFO and EVP Philip Angelastro pointed out that although specialty and PR disciplines were down organically for the quarter, both of them faced difficult comparatives to last year's Q4 performance when they each achieved organic growth in excess of 8%.

Net income inched up to $331.6M from $329.5M a year earlier.

Debt sits at $4.6B against $2.6B in cash.
