Travel and lifestyle agency Klick Communications has appointed veteran hospitality PR pro and culinary publicist Brenda Urban to the role of communications director.

Klick Comms.Urban in 2012 co-founded Los Angeles-based PR and marketing shop Urban + Allen, which focuses on hospitality and lifestyle. Prior to that she was a senior account supervisor at Los Angeles hospitality PR firm Wagstaff Worldwide and a senior account supervisor at Next Fifteen unit M Booth & Associates. She began her career in the New York office of the William Morris Agency, where she served as an assistant, and later held a senior account executive position at Lou Hammond & Associates.

Urban previously starred in the Bravo reality TV series "Eat, Drink, Love," which ran for one season in 2013.

Urban begins in her new role at Klick Communications in May. She will work out of the agency's Santa Monica office.

Klick Communications, which was founded in 2012, holds offices in Honolulu, Los Angeles and Sydney, Australia. Agency clients include The Modern Honolulu, Four Seasons Oahu, Visit Redondo and Farmer's Daughter Hotel.
