R&J Strategic Communications has appointed Nicholas LaPlaca, a member of the agency’s B2B and real estate team, to the role of senior account executive.

LaPlaca joined the Bridgewater, NJ-based agency in 2012 as an account coordinator before being named assistant account executive the following year. As senior account executive, he'll continue to lead account team activities for his clients while developing and executing strategies to aid the agency’s real estate, banking and financial services clients.
Formerly known as R&J Public Relations, the agency in November rebranded as R&J Strategic Communications after acquiring Denville, NJ-based marketing communications shop Fifth Room Creative.
