The Government of Turkey renewed its strategic consulting and advocacy contract with Ballard Partners for a year, but cut fees to the Trump-connected firm nearly 50 percent to $62,500 per-month.
The principal focus of Brian Ballard’s firm is to improve Turkey-US bilateral relations.
According to its contract, Ballard Partners also promotes Turkey as an energy hub and highlights the role that it plays to combat terrorism/transnational threats and support efforts to de-escalate the violence in neighboring Syria.
Turkey president Recep Tayyip Erdogan is up for re-election on June 24.
Ballard was a top fund-raiser for Donald Trump in Florida and chair of Trump Victory in in the Sunshine State.
He served as vice chairman of the Inaugural Committee.
