Vested financial communications shop has appointed Christina Bertinelli as a managing director for its New York office. Bertinelli comes to Vested from Lumentus, where she was a senior partner, establishing and then leading the firm’s digital reputation practice. Previously, she founded and managed the New York office of Instinctif Partners, a UK-based communications agency. Bertinelli has also served as vice president of account management at GO Productions and SVP of client relations at Broadstreet. In her new position, Bertinelli will work to expand Vested’s client base as well as leading its marketing offering, which includes social media, web design, digital ad-buying and branding.

Perry Communications Group has hired Stephanie McGann Jantzen as a vice president. McGann Jantzen joins the agency after spending three decades as political consultant, crisis communications specialist and public affairs strategist. She has managed statewide California races, congressional, senate and assembly campaigns, as well as local campaigns and ballot measures. She led northern California advance for former California governor Pete Wilson in his first campaign and worked on Jack Kemp’s campaign for president. At Perry, she will manage client accounts, providing strategic advice and direction as well as overseeing growth of new issue areas and client development.

Hill+Knowlton Strategies has promoted Simon Shaw to global chief creative strategy + innovation officer. Shaw joined H+K in 2014 as chief creative officer at H+K’s Centre of Creative Strategy in London, working with such clients as Huawei, Coca Cola and Envision. Prior to joining H+K, he served as executive creative director & head of content at Good Relations and was previously creative director and global brand director at Exposure. He has also been a juror at the Cannes Lions.
