PRSA said today its international conference that was slated for Nashville from Oct. 25 to Oct 27 would be held online instead due to the COVID-19 crisis.
The organization said it explored options for the safe delivery of an in-person conference, but it "became increasingly clear that it would not be possible to guarantee social distancing and other safety measures that would be necessary to achieve that desired goal."
The recast ICON 2020 session will be held Oct. 26-29 and feature keynoters Jon Meacham, presidential historian and Pulitzer Prize-winning author, Carolynn Johnson, CEO of, DiversityInc Media LLC and Lata Nott, Freedom Forum Fellow for the First Amendment.
