Samba TV, a tech company that lets brands and customers measure streaming engagement, hires Roku head of platform communications Dallas Lawrence as SVP and head of communications and brand, a newly created position. At Roku, Lawrence led all programming communications. He has also served as chief communications and brand officer at adverstising tech company OpenX and was world-wide managing director and global practice chair at Burson-Marsteller’s global digital practice. In addition, Lawrence was a spokesperson for the George W. Bush administration during the Iraq war.

Red Lobster brings on Patty Trevino as chief marketing officer. Trevino joins Red Lobster from CKE Restaurant Holdings, where she was senior vice president of marketing for both the Carl's Jr. and Hardee's brands. She has also held executive marketing posts at Burger King, Outback Steakhouse and Bonefish Grill. At Red Lobster, Trevino will unify and lead the marketing, communications, customer experience and loyalty and culinary operations teams.

KERV Interactive, a digital advertising platform, hires Michael Fleischman as chief financial officer. Fleischman joins the company from investment banking firm Progress Partners, where he served as an executive in resident. He was previously CFO of Digital Remedy for more than ten years, and been SVP of corporate finance and strategic planning for Cablevision and Rainbow Media Holdings. In his new position, Fleischman will oversee KERV’s accounting, financial planning and capital raising activities.
