FINN Partners names Shannon Riggs a managing partner of its Pacific Northwest strategic communications business unit. She succeeds Wendy Lane Stevens, who is retiring effective Sept. 30. Riggs joined Lane PR (which was founded by Lane Stevens and is now part of FINN) in 2006 and has most recently served as a senior partner. In her new post, she will oversee the management of the Pacific Northwest Strategic Communications Business Unit and its staff, most of whom are based in Portland. “Shannon is already a highly accomplished and strategic PR practitioner, but I know she will continue to exceed all expectations as she embraces this new role,” said Lane Stevens.

Rally Point PR hires Lisa Kurtz as VP. Kurtz was most recently at Clarity PR, where she worked with current Rally Point managing director Ruth Sarfaty and account manager Lauren Carver. She has also worked at LaForce + Stevens, Kaplow and Child’s Play Communication. In her new post, Kurtz will handle B2B tech and business accounts, as well as leading the company’s 2022 measurement initiative, which will enable it to deliver customized impact reports to clients. “Lisa joining Rally Point rounds out our amazing B2B tech team with a seriously experienced communications strategist and account runner,” said Sarfaty.

Vimeo, a video hosting, sharing and services platform provider, appoints Lynn Girotto as chief marketing officer. Girotto joins the company from digital insights platform Heap, where she also served as CMO. She has also held senior marketing positions at Getty Images, Starbucks, Microsoft and PepsiCo. In her role at Vimeo, Girotto will report to CEO Anjali Sud. “Lynn is a rare breed in marketing, with over 30 years of experience driving growth at some of the world’s most differentiated brands,” said Sud.

Fors Marsh Group hires Lynne Doner Lotenberg as VP of its newest practice area, Campaign Research and Evaluation. Doner Lotenberg was CEO at Hager Sharp from 2013 to 2015. She has also served as co-editor of the international journal Social Marketing Quarterly for 11 years, where she is currently an advisory board member. At FMG, Doner Lotenberg will serve as the research arm for all FMG communication campaigns, providing clients with data to target, develop, monitor and evaluate campaigns tackling a range of complex social issues—from public health to military recruitment.
