Invariant adds Loren Dealy Mahler to its strategic communications and public affairs practice as a senior director. Dealy Mahler most recently founded and ran Dealy Mahler Strategies. She has also served as VP, corporate communications at MWW and VP, communications and external affairs at IT services and consulting company Cipherloc (now SideChannel). Earlier in her career, she was director of legislative affairs for the National Security Council and director of communications for the Department of Defense’s Office of Legislative Affairs. At Invariant, she will work to expand the agency’s portfolio of work across defense, national security, and cybersecurity. “Working across the federal government, Capitol Hill, communications agencies, and with start-ups makes her uniquely qualified to help clients bridge the gap between corporate communications, public affairs, and government affairs,” said Matthew Gallagher, head of Invariant’s strategic communications team in Washington, DC.

Hukill joins FOVNDRY from kglobal, where he was most recently a vice president, managing the agency’s public relations team and specializing in public affairs campaigns for private industry, trade associations and nonprofit organizations. He was previously executive editor at Sayfie Media, a state politics digital media company.
