Amblin Partners, the film production company founded by Steven Spielberg and film producers Kathleen Kennedy and Frank Marshall in 1980, taps former DreamWorks president of marketing and CBS Films president Terry Press to serve in the newly created role of president of strategy and communications. In her new role, Press will oversee the strategy and execution of all elements of marketing, publicity, consumer products and communication strategy for the film and television divisions of Amblin Partners and Spielberg. She is not filling the job vacated recently by Dan Berger. “Since the earliest days of DreamWorks, Terry has been a vital part of our DNA, championing our films with her marketing expertise and passion for film. Her reputation in the industry for excellence is well known and we have a long-shared history of great experiences together,” Spielberg said.

S&P Global has promoted Christina Twomey to global head of communications after having held various leadership roles across the company in her 13 years there. She has most recently been head of communications for S&P Global Ratings since 2020 and for S&P Global Sustainable1 since 2021. Before that, she held leadership roles across Enterprise Communications and S&P Global Market Intelligence, as well as with SNL Financial before its acquisition by S&P Global in 2015. In her new post, Twomey will serve as a critical advisor to president and CEO Doug Peterson and the board on all matters pertaining to communications. The role was previously held by Ola Fadahunsi.

Rigdon joins the company from SoFi, where he served as head of sales marketing enablement. He was previously SVP of marketing at Wyndham Capital Mortgage, where he spearheaded a complete brand overhaul, emphasizing the company’s commitment to financial technology. “Trey's track record in the mortgage industry, coupled with his innovative approach to marketing and branding, aligns perfectly with our vision for growth,” said Summit Funding CEO Todd Scrima.
