Antenna Group brings on Kristin O'Connell as EVP of its climate and mobility practice. O’Connell joins Antenna Group from Next 15 agency Archetype, where she served as SVP. Before that, she was at Makovsky. At Antenna, O’Connell is tasked with counseling brands on how strategic communications can protect and grow reputation as the world grapples with the climate crisis’ effect on global markets. “Kristin’s strong foundation with global climate and clean energy brands will elevate Antenna’s client-focused work, helping companies transition from a period of research and innovation to a world where companies across the economy adopt sustainable, healthy, equitable solutions,” said Antenna Group CEO Keith Zakheim.

FleishmanHillard names Ryo Kanayama president of its Japan Group of companies, including FleishmanHillard Japan and VOX Global Japan. Kanayama returns to FleishmanHillard (where he previously served from 1999- 2007) from Deloitte Japan, where he was a partner in its clients & industries and brand marketing groups. He has also led the corporate affairs function at Walmart Japan and Seiyu. “Ryo has extensive experience driving transformation and societal change working with businesses, non-profits, governmental entities and local communities,” said FleishmanHillard APAC president Joanne Wong. “With his experience both in-house and within consultancies, Ryo can effectively lead and coach our own team, as well as our clients, to advance the use of communications as a strategic and effective business problem-solving tool to drive desired outcomes.”
