Vested hires Hot Paper Lantern president Ted Birkhahn as a managing director, based in New York. Birkhahn was president and partner at Peppercomm before it spun off HPL in 2018. As managing director at Vested, Birkhahn takes on a newly created role, overseeing the development of a tech-enabled platform focused on transforming client engagement and service delivery for middle-market financial services companies. “Ted is an industry leader, a consummate entrepreneur and now, a welcome colleague. Dataminr, a real-time AI platform that detects events, risks and critical information from public data signals, appoints Murali Nemani as CMO. Nemani previously served as CMO at generative AI platform Aisera and AIOps company Science Logic. He was also senior director of mobility marketing at Cisco.
