Swiss battery maker Leclanché has named New York-based Feintuch Communications its North American PR agency of record.
Leclanché manufactures large-format lithium-ion cells and energy storage systems for residential and commercial uses, as well as technologies for electricity grids and mass transport systems such as bus fleets and ferries. The Yverdon-les-Bains, Switzerland-based company, which was founded in 1909, recently introduced its products to the North American market, with the establishment of a Dallas-based subsidiary.
Feintuch will focus on corporate and trade PR for Leclanché, and will launch an integrated campaign in North America aimed at expanding the company’s visibility and generating sales among the company’s target industries and geographic markets. The agency will also support Leclanché's investor relations needs and will work to coordinate PR in global markets.
Feintuch Communications, which represents consumer tech and clean tech companies, in 2015 accounted for nearly $820,000 in net fees, according to O’Dwyer’s ranking of PR firms.
Laura Anderson, who rose to VP/GM of global communications and events in a nearly 20 year stint at Intel, will take on the Americas technology chair at Burson following the completion of the BCW and H+K merger on July 1.
