Marathon Strategies has launched “Insight 2020,” a research and analysis program offering strategic insight into the 2020 presidential campaign issues that may impact businesses and industries. Once engaged on an “Insight 2020” assignment, Marathon will develop an overview of key areas of focus including candidate positions, past public statements, and important votes. It will identify vulnerabilities and inconsistencies in candidates’ records and potential conflicts of interest with specific industries or companies. “Marathon Strategies is eager to help manage reputational challenges during the 2020 campaign and pave the way for what might come next if a new administration takes office in 2021,” said Marathon managing director and founder Phil Singer, who served as national spokesperson for John Kerry’s 2004 presidential campaign and deputy communications director of Hillary Clinton’s 2008 campaign.
