Ridgely Walsh, which was founded by the well-connected DC Republican PA consultant Juleanna Glover, is providing PR and media work for Ukraine on a volunteer basis.
The firm has arranged media interviews and panel presentation opportunities for Ukrainian government officials.
It placed an April 21 op-ed in the Wall Street Journal called “The UN is an Enabler of Russian War Crimes,” written by Ukraine defense minister Oleksii Reznivov.
RW set up a June 22 meeting at Washington’s La Tomate Restaurant of a delegation of Ukrainian pilots with the WSJ’s Sharon Weinberger, Vox’s Jonathan Guyer, Defense One’s Jacqueline Feldscher, Yahoo’s Alexander Nazaryan and Karina Bafradzhian.
The Ukrainians stressed the need for US support of their country’s air defense network and the establishment of a training program here for Ukrainian pilots.
Glover served on the staff of president-elect George W. Bush and as press secretary to VP Dick Cheney. She advised John McCain on his presidential run and co-founded the Ashcroft Group with former attorney general John Ashcroft.
The veteran of Clark & Weinstock and Teneo has advised corporate clients such as JPMorgan Chase, Microsoft, Tesla, AT&T, Google, China’s Alibaba, PepsiCo, Oracle and CVS Health.
She is part of the RW’s Ukraine team that includes associate Elizabeth Sean Lyons, director Elizabeth Glover Sullivan and senior director Veronika Velch, a native of Ukraine.
Prior to moving to the US, Velch co-founded the “Follow the Money” initiative that advocated for political reform in Ukraine.
RW does not receive any compensation for its Ukrainian service.
Impact Management Group, which is headed by Republican operative Terry Benham, works to build US support for Ukraine.
